The BRIT Awards (BRITs) on Tuesday 8 February were full of amazing moments and an unfortunate tumble… Adele walked away with three awards while rappers Dave and Little Simz lit up the stage with performances of their biggest tracks.
Singer Ann-Marie performed with rapper and YouTuber KSI. But things took a turn for the worse when Ann-Marie had a slight misstep. She took a tumble during the performance but she soldiered on and finished strong!

As an artist performing live at a major awards show, you have to be ready for anything and Ann-Marie certainly was! The 30-year-old singer was performing her pop single Kiss Me (Uh Oh) when the unexpected happened…
Ann-Marie was performing in front of a crowd of more than 20 000 people at the O2 Arena in London when she took an unexpected tumble, but she handled it like a champion!
Ann-Marie sprung right back up and continued the peformance.
Taking to Twitter to react to her fall, Ann-Marie jokingly wrote: “Didn’t need my left ankle anyway.”

TWEEPS PRAISE ANN-MARIE’S CHAMPION SPIRIT
Taking to Twitter to react to Anne-Marie’s tumble, many praised the songstress for getting up and continuing the performance flawlessly.
One tweep wrote: “Big up to Ann-Marie for getting back up so quick and soldiering on.”
“Something always happens at the BRITs hope Ann-Marie’s left ankle is okay!” wrote another tweep.
“Ann-Marie did a bloody good job styling that trip out! Well done!”
THE JOKES ROLL IN
One tweep took it upon themselves to start a Twitter account as Ann-Marie’s left ankle.
The Twitter account wrote: “Wow. Bit shaken up but I’m okay. Bit bruised but with a bit of ice should be fine.”
“I hope there’s a seat for me at the after-party. I need to be elevated STAT,” they wrote in another tweet.
Optometrists Specsavers offered Ann-Marie a free visit to their offices.
Ann-Marie responded: “I’ll be in touch.”
