Alhaji Grusah criticizes Ghana’s AFCON qualification struggles

Ghana has been forced into desperate calculations to qualify for the 2025 AFCON following poor performances, according to King Faisal bankroller, Alhaji Grusah.”We are now doing calculations that Sudan will lose two matches then we win two matches. Who told you that?” he questioned in an interview with Asempa FM.Alhaji Grusah expressed frustration with Ghanas results after their 2-0 defeat to Sudan in match-day four of the qualifiers at the Martyrs of February Stadium. He lamented that the Black Stars failed to collect crucial points in the four games played so far, leaving them to rely on permutations to keep their hopes alive.Sudan capitalized on Ghana’s defensive errors, with Ahmed Hamed Mahmoud opening the scoring in the 62nd minute after a defensive blunder. Three minutes later, Mohammed Abdelrahman extended the lead, outpacing Mohammed Salisu to find the net.Sudans win propelled them to seven points in Group F, while Ghana lags behind with just two points, facing an uphill battle for qualification.
