Aalborg BK sign Ghanaian teen Gabriel Quartey

Danish Superliga side Aalborg BK have announced the signing of Ghanaian teen Gabriel Quartey. The 17-year-old, whose contract takes effect in January 2025, when he turns 18, impressed Aalborg during his time on trial at the club.Quartey signed a four-year deal to join the Red and White from the Ghanaian football academy, Givova Sporting Academy.”Gabriel Quartey has shown himself well in training with both the Superliga squad and the U/19 League team, and we can see some top skills that he can hopefully further develop and display in the coming years in AaB,” said the club’s Sporting Director James Gow.”As a player, Gabriel is fast and mobile, and he is skilled one-on-one and can finish with both feet,” he added.”At the same time, he is an aggressive pressure player, and he already knows European culture after a stay in England, where he has, among other things, acquired fine language skills.”Quartey will begin his career at the club with the U19s as he continues his development.
