Black Galaxies head coach,Mas-Ud Didi Dramani says it would be a monumental achievement to qualify his side for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament.The two rival countries will face off for a place in the tournament which will be hosted inKenya, Uganda, and Tanzania next year.Ghana will host Nigeria in the first leg onSunday, December 22, at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 15:00 GMT.Speaking in an interview, the experienced Ghanaian coach said leading the side to qualify for the tournament would be a monumental achievement.”Qualification would be monumental, showcasing the strength of our local league. It would provide a platform for players to gain exposure and inspire upcoming talents across Ghana,” he told CAFOnline.The return leg will follow on Saturday, December 28, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Nigeria.This will be the second consecutive year that the Black Galaxies face Nigeria in the playoff round.Ghana previously beat Nigeria on penalties two years ago to secure a spot in the last edition of the CHAN tournament, before suffering a quarterfinal exit at the tournament.
