Joburg water: 11-hour outage and other restrictions tonight

The Sandton System will be closed for 11 hours from this evening 1 December 2024, with other areas also experiencing water restrictions, Johannesburg Water has announced in a statement.

The closure of the system will cause residents in certain areas to experience poor pressure or complete water outage overnight. These are the areas that will be affected until tomorrow morning, 2 December 2024. The province has also proposed implementing water tariffs to curb water wastage.
