GFA Executive Council to review Otto Addo’s Technical Report on AFCON qualifiers tomorrow

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is scheduled to meet with Black Stars head coach Otto Addo on Wednesday, November 27, to review the team’s performance during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. This key meeting will centre around the technical report that Addo has submitted, evaluating the Black Stars efforts in the qualifiers and the overall performance of the technical team under his leadership.This decision comes after the Executive Council met last Wednesday and agreed to engage with the coach to discuss the report and the team’s performance since Addo took over earlier this year.A statement from the GFA confirmed the meeting, highlighting its importance in determining the future direction of Ghana’s national football team.The Executive Council will meet the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Mr. Otto Addo, on the 27th of November, 2024, to discuss his technical report on the just-ended AFCON qualifiers and the overall performance of the technical team since assuming duty earlier this year, the statement read.Additionally, the meeting will also serve to provide clarity regarding the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.Following the disappointing result, there has been considerable discussion surrounding the future of the Black Stars, and this meeting is expected to offer insight into how the GFA plans to move forward.As part of the decisions made during the Executive Councils previous meeting, the Management Committee of the Black Stars was immediately dissolved.
