Kaizer Chiefs: Star heading out, replacement spotted

One Kaizer Chiefs star is on his way out of Naturena and his replacement has already been lined up.

Kaizer Chiefs fan-favourite, Happy Mashiane, is one of FIVE players heading out of Naturena.

Meanwhile, his replacement has been spotted training with Amakhosi as they prepare to sign him to the first team.

CHIEFS STAR FACES LIKELY EXIT

As reported on The South African, Mashiane is set to leave Chiefs in January.

So, Amakhosi management are lining up his potential replacement. Currently, Bradley Cross and Bongani Sam are the left-back options for Chiefs. Cross has been a regular starter under Nabi. Whilst, Sam was signed as cover and he is now back from injury.

“You know for now there are three left backs. Bradley Cross, Bongani Sam and Happy Mashiane and the future of Mashiane is hanging in the balance for now and they want to have someone to understudy Cross and Sam so Ofentse is the right candidate for that and that’s why he is set for promotion,” the insider stated on SNL.

EX-PIRATES MAN, NEW PLAYER TO FORCE AMAKHOSI STAR OUT?

Meaning, the acquisition of former Orlando Pirates star, Sam makes for grim reading for Mashiane at Chiefs as this is a clear indication that he does not form a part of Nabi’s future plans.

Additionally, with Kgosana now training with the first team, the plan is for him to step up and possibly replace Mashiane.

“He has been training with the first team under the watchful eye of the technical team and they are impressed. Yes, he trains with the first team as well as the DDC and plays for the DDC but now they believe he is ready to be promoted and acclimatize with the senior team before getting game time as well,” he added.

DO YOU THINK MASHIANE SHOULD BE LOANED OUT OR SHOULD HE BE SOLD BY CHIEFS ON A PERMANENT DEAL?
