Bumper entry for this year’s Duncan and Rose Muchuma soccer tourney
Sitikho Young Fc beat Musananda Fc 2-0 as this year’s Duncan and Rose Muchuma Foundation games kicked off at Khalala Primary School in Webuye,Bungoma County.
In other results Milo Jnr battled to a 1-1 draw with Red Star while Khandalala lost by a solitary goal to Mwangaza Starlets.
A total of 114 teams across the men’s and women’s categories are participating in the touranament which is intended to advance the use of AI in communities.
‘’As Inua AI we have explored opportunities for the young people and we feel like nurturing talent is very key for the future of the young.We would like to grow this opportunities into professional careers.we are starting with games but we would like to expand it to the digital space which is really growing big’’, CEO Inua AI Humprey Muchuma remarked.
The final is expected to be held January 2025 with winning teams receiving cash awards,trophies and certificates.
