Police arrest man linked to fatal shooting in Eastleigh

Police have arrested Paul Odhiambo Owuodho, also known as Fazul Mohammed, in connection with the fatal shooting of Abdirahim Abdullahi in Eastleigh last week.

The 27-year-old suspect is also linked to the killing of a DCI officer in Mihango, Kayole, last year.

The suspect was arrested in the wee hours of the morning after DCI officers conducted a raid within the Kiambiu slums.

According to authorities, Owuodho was wanted for the fatal shooting which occurred on November 9 near DD Plaza in Eastleigh.

Additionally, the suspect is implicated in the murder of PC David Mayaka, a DCI officer in Makadara.

Mayaka was reportedly shot by three assailants on a motorcycle on August 23, 2023.

The suspect is currently in police custody at Shauri Moyo Police Station as DCI Shauri Moyo continues with the investigations.
