What time is Springboks vs Wales? Line-up, schedule and venue

Springboks play Wales this Saturday, concluding their three-game tour.

Kick-off: 19:40

South Africa have enjoyed a stellar UK tour, beating Scotland 32-15 before humbling England 29-20 in front of a sold-out Twickenham stadium.

The Springboks will play in front of another packed-out arena – this time in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Blue Bull star set for debut

Loose forward Cemeron Hanekom has had to wait for his Springbok selection, during which he has been a menace at club level, elevating the Blue Bull’s attack and defence.

Erasmus has Hanekom on the bench, meaning a debut for the 22-year-old this weekend is inevitable unless something drastic occurs.

Former Springbok captain Corne Krige speaks highly of the Pretoria player, saying, “That’s Rassie (Erasmus). He is the only one who would choose a loose forward in a fullback’s place and I believe he will definitely want to give Cameron a chance on the tour.

“I am very excited about what he can offer the Springboks, especially with the great focus that is now on attacking rugby. He should fit in very well with that pattern of play.

“What I like about Cameron is that he is quick and has good hands, but is also a good defender and can play to the ground,

“Although he is not a specialist ball chaser, he can steal balls for you. Cameron is also very physical and a dangerous ball carrier. In that respect, he is the ideal loose forward in modern rugby.”
