DJ Lord OTD Grateful To King Promise

Ghana’s reigning DJ of the Year, DJ Lord OTD, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Afrobeat artiste, King Promise, for his unwavering support throughout their years of collaboration.

This acknowledgment came during the 12th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards held in Accra, where DJ Lord OTD accepted the award for Artiste DJ of the Year on behalf of King Promise.

DJ Lord OTD triumphed over notable competitors, including Stonebwoy’s DJ Sedem, KiDi’s DJ Vyrusky, King Paluta’s Iconic DJ, Shatta Wale’s DJ Foxzy, Black Sherif’s DJ Loft, and Olive The Boy’s DJ Ascalon TPS, as well as DJ MJ for Eno Barony, DJ Ikon for Kofi Mole, and DJ Stunt for Fameye.

In his acceptance speech, he stated, “This award means a lot to me. Thank you all for your support. I would also like to acknowledge King Promise for his love and support throughout these years.”

In addition to the Artiste DJ of the Year award, DJ Lord OTD also claimed the prestigious DJ of the Year title at the ceremony.

Founded in 2013 by Merqury Republic, the annual Guinness Ghana DJ Awards aims to recognise outstanding achievements by both Ghanaian and international DJs, musicians, and other industry stakeholders. Last year, DJ Lord OTD was the biggest winner of the night, taking home multiple trophies, including the coveted DJ of the Year Award.
