Orlando Pirates so say goodbye to winger? Agent Hint
Orlando Pirates‘ Katlego Otladisa has become a forgotten player. Growing reports say two Betway Premiership clubs are circling. What does his agent say?
KATLEGO OTLADISA TO LEAVE ORLANDO PIRATES?
The 27-year-old winger was signed from Marumo Gallants in July 2023. Unfortunately for Otladisa, the Rustenburg-born star has only made nine appearances for Orlando Pirates with zero goals and assists for the Sea Robbers.
According to Soccer Laduma, Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City are interested.
“For now, I can tell you that both Sekhukhune United and Polokwane have inquired about Katlego (Otladisa),” the report said.
“It’s actually a loan request and they would want to have him in January. First, it was Marumo Gallants, and now it’s these two other clubs. I can’t say whether there are talks already or not the interest and inquiries from the clubs are there.
“Marumo Gallants wanted him on loan in August, but due to some logistics, nothing could come out of that. But now, even the player himself wants to play. He can see that it will be difficult for him to play at Pirates, you look at the players in his position,” the report added.
EXIT FROM ORLANDO PIRATES CAN BE EXPECTED
“I’m yet to sit down with Orlando Pirates management and find solutions regarding this situation, and it’s highly unlikely for that meeting to happen now because, obviously, the window period is closed,” Nimrod Mbhalati from Nida Sports Agency told FARPost.
“So, let’s wait and see what will happen when the time for the meeting is right. But yes, there is interest in the boy from a few clubs, and it’s also evident that he’s not playing.
“He is at an age where he should be getting more minutes, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. The boy is strong, and we support him together with his family; they are very supportive. I personally talk to him daily, and he is positive and working hard,” Mbhalati concluded on the Orlando Pirates attacker.
SHOULD KATLEGO OTLADISA STAY TO FIGHT FOR HIS PLACE OR LEAVE SOWETO?
