Ghanaian forward Kelvin Boateng bags hatrick in First Vienna home victory

Ghanaian forward Kelvin Boateng was outstanding for First Vienna FC in their league match against SK Rapid Vienna Amateur in the Austrian 2. Liga.The 24-year-old bagged a hatrick after scoring all the goals in First Vienna’s 3-1 victory at the Hohe Warte Stadium on Friday evening.The home side were up and running as early as the first minute when Boateng put them ahead after connecting a pass from Christoph Monschein.Boateng doubled the advantage for First Vienna a few minutes later after he was set up by defender Jurgen Bauer.With five minutes remaining in the first half, Boateng scored again to seal his hatrick, increasing the tally for First Vienna following an assist from David Ungar.Defender Dominic Vincze pulled one back for Rapid in the 85th minute after Tobias Hedl had missed a penalty kick in the first half.Boateng has now scored four goals after six appearances in the Austrian second-tier league since the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign.
