Clark hails Dangote on refinery completion

Chief Edwin Clark, former Federal Commissioner for Information and South South leader, has commended Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the successful completion of the Dangote Refinery and rollout of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

In a statement, Clark praised Dangote’s pioneering spirit and commitment to innovation, saying the project will boost Nigeria’s energy security, employment, and economic development.

Clark, National Leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum, urged President Bola Tinubu to sustain support for local refineries and reopen the policy of creating modular refineries in the Niger Delta.

He congratulated President Tinubu on the achievement and encouraged him to ensure regular crude oil supply and fair pricing for Nigerians.

Clark also acknowledged Dangote’s philanthropic efforts, including rice distribution across Nigeria, and urged other entrepreneurs to follow suit.

The Dangote Refinery is set to commence supply to the entire country starting October 15, 2024.”
