Bafana explained that when the UNMF was initially formed by Kenzo and other prominent musicians, he was among the many artists who joined and participated in the federation’s early meetings and planning sessions.

However, after receiving a financial distribution that was allocated to members, Bafana decided to leave the federation. Despite his departure, he expressed dissatisfaction with the amount of money he received, feeling it was insufficient and wanting more.

In an attempt to address this issue, Bafana reached out to Kenzo but received no response.

“I tried reaching out to Kenzo about the money, but he ignored me. I wanted more money from the federation,” Bafana revealed. He also mentioned that some people have suggested he return the money he initially received, but he dismissed this idea, asserting that he has no intention of doing so and instead desires additional funds.
