Former Asante Kotoko defender Sherif Mohammed has completed a transfer move to Ethiopian club Mekele 70 Enderta FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirmThe 22-year-old centre-back has joined the Ethiopian Premier League side on a one-year contract with an option to extend after the 2024-25 season.Mohammed signs for Mekele on a free transfer after departing from Kotoko at the end of the past campaign, where he put in a decent shift, making 11 appearances in the Ghanaian championship.Mohammed joined the Porcupine Warriors in August 2022 from EurAfrica FC following an unsuccessful trial in France.He went ahead to play 20 matches in the Ghana Premiership and two games in the CAF Champions League preliminary round, earning him a call-up to the Ghana national team.Mohammed was included in the Ghana final squad for the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria.
