36 Traffic Officers Equipped with Road Policing Skills

A total of 36 traffic police officers drawn from the Kampala Metropolitan Area, have been equipped with road policing and leadership skills during a one-day workshop at Golf Course Hotel.

The workshop was organized by the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety in partnership with KCCA, and Global Road Safety, an International Organ dedicated to the sustainable reduction of road-crash death and injuries.

During the workshop, the officers were equipped with skills on how to manage traffic incidents, road crashes, how to investigate road crashes and speed enforcement, among many other road safety sections.

Traffic officers were urged to be a multiplier effect, and pass on the knowledge acquired to fellow officers in the field.
