A total of 14,748,107 vaccines have been administered across the country as of 10th February 2022, 7,251,045 of them partially vaccinated while are 6,757,152 fully vaccinated.
According to the recent data from the Ministry of Health, another 525,248 doses have been administered to those between 15 to 17 years while 214,662 are booster doses.
At the same time, the total number of vaccines administered in the last 24 hours were 239,937 while the total number of people fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours is 99,240.
In the meantime 54 people have tested positive for the disease, from a sample size of 5,578 tested in the last 24 hours as the positivity rate drops to 1.0%.
From the cases, 46 are Kenyans, 8 are foreigners while 29 are males and 25 females. The youngest is a three-year-old child while the oldest is 90 years.
In terms of County distribution, Nairobi had 24, Taita Taveta 8, Nakuru 7, Isiolo 5, Kilifi and Kisii 2 each, Embu, Kiambu, Kitui, Mombasa, Siaya and Uasin Gishu 1 each.
During the same period 2,342 patients recovered from the disease, 2,323 from the Home-Based Isolation and Care program while 19 are from various health facilities countrywide.
Total recoveries now stand at 302,647 of whom 249,899 are from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program, while 52,748 are from various health facilities countrywide.
A total of 211 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 1,441 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program. 5 patients are in the Intensive Care 7 Unit (ICU), 4 of them on ventilatory support and 1 on supplemental oxygen.
Another 58 patients are on supplemental oxygen, 55 of them in the general wards while three patients are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
