2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Results in the last four Ghana games have been unfortunate â Henry Asante Twum
Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has described as unfortunate, the poor results earned by the Black Stars in their four games in Group F of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).After the four games, Ghana is without a win, having lost twice and drawn the other games.Speaking to Citi Sports ahead of the last two games in the qualifiers, Henry Asante Twum said the plan is for the Black Stars to win all matches.We are very much focused on the games. We want to go into the games with a positive mindset that has always been the driving force for this team. We go into games thinking we have to win. We go into games with a plan to win. Unfortunately, we havent had the results in the last four games, the GFA Communications Director said.Ghanas Black Stars have travelled to Luanda today ahead of the clash against Angola on Friday, November 15.Subsequently, the Black Stars will return to Ghana to host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 18.Ghana will only qualify for the next AFCON if Sudan loses both games in the November international break and the Black Stars win their upcoming matches as well.
