Nsoatreman FC returned to winning form in the Ghana Premier League by securing a crucial 2-0 victory over newly-promoted Basake Holy Stars at the Nana Amoah Kronmansah II Park on Sunday.First-half strikes from Collins Kudjoe and Mohammed Abdul Rahman were enough to seal the win and get their campaign back on track.Having suffered a setback in their previous fixture, a defeat to reigning champions FC Samartex 1996, Nsoatreman needed a positive response.They started brightly and quickly took control of the match, finding the back of the net as early as the 7th minute.Kudjoes well-taken goal gave the hosts the perfect start, allowing them to dictate the tempo.The home sides dominance continued, and by the 32nd minute, they doubled their advantage.Abdul Rahman, who has been in fine form this season, slotted in his third goal of the campaign to put Nsoatreman firmly in the drivers seat.Despite some second-half pressure from Holy Stars, neither side was able to add to the scoreline after the break.Nsoatreman’s solid defence ensured that they comfortably held onto their two-goal lead, securing all three points and reigniting their Premier League campaign.
