Basake Holy Stars came from a goal down to beat Accra Lions in their first-ever meeting in the Ghana Premier League at Crosby Awuah Park in Anyinase.A late strike from the host ensured they collected all three points after it looked like the game was headed for a 1-1 draw.Accra Lions started well and took the lead 34 minutes into the game after Salman Faris Tahiru headed home from a brilliant cross from Baba Salifu Apiiga.The visitors dominated the half, creating several chances but could not make it count.However, they were punished on the hour mark after a mistake from goalkeeper Osei Bonsu saw the host pull parity.Accra Lions almost responded immediately but forward David Akintunde’s lob over the Holy Stars goalie went wide.Both teams tried to chase a late winner but the host had the last laugh with their teeming fans behind them.Just when the game was about to end, Holy Stars took advantage of their final-minute pressure to snatch a late win.
