The Himalayas of Nepal have long been the destination for mountaineers from around the world.  Nepal has 8 of the 10 highest mountains in all the world including the tallest of them all , Mt.  Everest. Eco-Trek offers guided climbing trips on many of Nepal's smaller trekking peaks.  Most of the climbs are non-technical but involve a large amount of glacier travel and physical fitness is a must.  We have experienced guides to introduce you to the fascinating experience of high altitude mountaineering.

The Kingdom of Nepal is blessed with the most awe inspiring gift of nature anywhere in the world.  It is home to the mighty Himalayas, which mean's "abode of snows" in Sanskrit.  These mountains are the root of thousand's of years of Nepali culture.  They intimidate us with their overwhelming size and humble us with their apparent immortality.
They are home to 8 of the 10 highest mountains in the world including the highest of them all Mt.  Everest.  Mt.  Everest (Sagarmatha as the Nepali's call it) rises to the top of the Himalayas at 29,028 ft.
