The use of spam filters is another very effective way to combat junk mail or spam. These programs use some keywords like "guaranteed", "free", etc, and block any email with words in them. But this has the disadvantage of sometimes blocking important emails, contacts and even preventing the delivery of mail senders to your address again. The output is the use of add-on spam filters that allow you to control what content should be allowed in your inbox. This will save much time and energy, will not have to go through every email one before identifying it as spam and delete it.

Spam filters can be installed on any computer system and its purpose is to filter the junk and getting only the information relevant to the user.

Creating a simple spam filter can be very easy. Identify the "Filters" section in your email program and create a new filter. Set the rules or conditions of filter for the new folder. These may be the parameters under which it would be a mail marked as spam and deleted from the inbox. If you prefer to watch the filtered mail before deleting it, you can choose to move to another folder once it is filtered. Once you save the changes you made in the new filter, which will be active.

You have a new variety of spam filters on the market now are called "smart filters". While these struggles and to prevent spam very effectively, its creation is a very complex process and is only recommended for technical experts.

New generation of spam filters are different from the traditional to go for the most characteristic statistical data of spam. These filters decide on spam by e-mail scanning completely and compared to other already identified spam messages. The margin of error of these filters is negligible because more than 99% of fraud is identified and removed through this method.
