$ Consider the printer DPI (dots per inch) capability, which is the resolution that can print photos and documents. The higher DPI (dots per inch), the better quality will, either in print text or a picture.

$ Consider the cost of ink. When buying a new printer, take a moment to compare the prices of ink cartridges and make sure you can afford frequent purchases of ink if you do a lot of printing.

$ Take a look at the connector and make sure it is compatible with the system. Most new printers are connected via a USB port. The oldest connected via a parallel port, which is not commonly found in new computers.

$ By looking at the cost of ink, there is also the number of pages a cartridge can print a single. If the number of pages is high, the cost of ink can be reasonable. If the number of pages is low compared with other similar cartridges, you may want to select another printer that offers better performance of the ink cartridge.

$ Check out the warranty. All new electronic components, including printers, have a manufacturer's warranty. Depending on the company, the guarantees may be valid anywhere from 90 days to 1 year and may include defects in material and / or workmanship. If the printer is not working properly and develops a problem while under warranty, you'll be glad you saved the documents. Always keep the original sales receipt and warranty information regarding your purchase.

$ Purchase of a trusted name. When buying any item, it is best to buy from a manufacturer who knows produce a quality product, especially when it is a substantial e-procurement.

$ Consider the size and weight of the printer. This is important both for ease of cleanup. If your table is small, you may not want a bulky printer taking up most of your space. At the same time, you may not want to lift a heavy piece of equipment for cleaning your workplace. Lightweight and compact style may be better, especially if your office is at home.

$ Make sure your team is able to run the printer software, which means it may require a specific type and processor speed, memory, etc.

$ Make sure you buy the printer that has all the features and capabilities you need. For example, if your primary goal is to produce photo-realistic printing and writing papers from time to time, consider buying a photo printer. You can change the print quality to fit any of the images or documents, or even a combination of both if you plan to print photos bulletins.

$ Ensure that the printer has all the necessary cables and will not have to buy any additional hardware before finalizing your purchase. If you need to buy a USB cable, which is often the case with many new printers, will have to buy it at the same time to save on shipping costs when ordering online or having to make a special trip if you purchase locally .
