Although there are no warning signs to indicate that spyware or adware installed on your system, there are several telltale signs to warn you of their presence, once it is installed. I have gathered here for your convinence 10 telltale signs that can warn of the presence of adware or spyware on your computer. Here they are.

1. Browser change:
Frequent changes not authorized in your browser home page or the page must be a sign that something is happening with your team. The home page is the first page that you come to when you go to your internet account.Very often, this page is the home page of your Internet service provider (ISP), unless it has changed. If you find your home page changes frequently to the pages that you do not know, there's a good chance that your system is infected by spyware or adware.

2. The system is busy or the light of modem:
An ignition system or modem indicator is a sign of ongoing activity. If you're not online using your computer, modem indicator should not come to life. A modem blinking light when no one in line is a good indication that something is happening with your team.

3. Flow of spam:
Everyone has a certain amount of junk mail every day. However, a surge in the number of unwanted emails to your computer should be cause for investigation. Sypware work may be closed on your computer.

4. Slower system:
Have you noticed how his speed demon suddenly slowed to a crawl, like an old witch? If you are taking more time to launch your applications and even longer to load web pages if your Windows XP or 2000 Task Manager indicates the release in almost all available resources in use, it is possible that a case of spyware activity.

5. Unwanted Redirects:
Spyware and adware have the ability to redirect your search to web sites or the election of the holders of the program. If youend up web sites and not looking, there's a good chance that you are being redirected by the invisible hand of spyware and adware owners.

6. Banners Intrussive:
Some spyware programs open your browser displays a flood of banner. Often, these ads are difficult to close. Many times, they are replaced as soon as you close them. Sometimes the flags are so abundant that overwhelm the system resources.

7. Unwanted pop-ups:
Pop-ups when used properly, are a good resource to have on the web. They are used by sellers responsible for directing additional resources. However, pop-ups can be abused by aggressive advertising through the use of adware or spyware. Ignoring professional marketing and advertising ethics scripts aggressive advertisers use adware and spyware to your browser from unwanted spam and illicit deals sometimes.

Another variation is to use custom pop-ups. When you start getting multiple pop-ups with your name on them, which is that someone is spying idication with spyware.

8. Unknown Number 900:
Number 900, are not very common. Usually carry a charge for access. Have you noticed an increase in your phone bill with charges to 900 numbers do not know? You may have been spied an owner of spyware. It is believed that spyware and adware are responsible for a certain percentage of the crimes of identity theft often see and hear about today.

9. Foreign entries in your Favorites folder:
If you suddenly start seeing the foreign elements in your favorites folder, be warned. There is a good chance that someone has been that the items listed there. It is suggested to check your favorites folder and delete frequently unknown entries.

10. Additional browser toolbars:
The presence of a toolbar is not installed on your system, it may be another sign of the presence of spyware developers.

The average Internet user does not usually mess around with the toolbars. Most people are satisfied with Internet Explorer, Yahoo and Google toolbars can be. If a toolbar is unfamiliar to you, it probably is and should be investigated and possibly removed.

Finally, there are times when it may seem that all is well. Do not rest your oars. A good rule for life on-line is do your due diligence. Be proactive. Implement a security system and scan your computer frequently as some spyware and adware
