The African champions this evening
in Yaoundé, Cameroun lost 4-3 via
penalties to the indomitable
lionesses of Cameroun in their final
qualifier.
The Cameroonians defeated their
Nigerian counterparts 2-1 to level
aggregate scores at 3-3 at full and
extra time.
Cameroun joins South Africa as
Africa’s representatives at the global
sporting showpiece while Nigeria
misses the event for the first time
since 2000.
