Nigeria’s former
international, Austin 'Jay
Jay' Okocha, has signified
intention to be on the board
of the Nigeria Football
Federation (NFF), whose
elections are due in August.
It was gathered that 'Jay
Jay', who featured for the
country at international
level for more than 13
years and captained the
team to the 2002 World
Cup, will declare his interest
to become a vice-president
of the NFF when the
elections are staged on
August 28.
Several former
internationals such as
Segun Odegbami and Fabian
Duru have served on the
board of the Nigeria FA.
Okocha, 36, is currently a
member of the Presidential
Task Force (PTF) for the
2010 World Cup, a
government organisation to
complement the efforts of
the NFF in ensuring optimal
performance of the national
teams.

I think Okocha can do well in that position holding to the fact that is experience man in that arena.

It appears that all the retiring footballers are heading to the board.
