AUSTIN Eguavoen is only good as an interim handler of the Super Eagles as the former international has proved overtime that he can not handle the task of heading the coaching crew of the national team, senior  members of the team have alleged.

The players who revealed this to Sunday Tribunesports under the condition of anonymity described Eguavoen as lacking in  experience.

'' I fear he does not have the confidence required at this level,'' one of the players who featured for the Eagles in recent outings revealed to SundayTribunesports in Lagos.

''He trains with us and at the sessions he is always passionate, trying to win every tackle but on the managerial level, he falls short.  The other time he told an upcoming player to either brush up or be dropped because he doesn't want a player who is going to ruin his coaching career, that is not how to address a player,'' he said.

Another international player  noted that he lacks the guts  especially when the game gets tough.

I think they are not not lying, but he has to start some where and nigeria needs to give him that support and time.
