Lagerback has been named
as the new Super Eagles
coach, he replaces Amodu
Shaibu who has been demoted
to the home based Super
Eagles.
The Nigerian Football
Federation has given him a
semi final target at the South
Africa 2010 World Cup.
Lagerback was a Swedish
football manager and former
player. He is best known as
the former manager of the
Sweden national team. He
managed the Swedish national
team from 1998 until 2009
leading Sweden in five
consecutive championships,
the first time in Swedish
history. He resigned as
manager in 2009 after
Sweden's failure to qualify for
the 2010 World Cup in South
Africa.

I Think Nigeria would have given Amodu chance to take the Super eagle he qualified to the world cup.
I don't think this is fair.
Could this new coach have what they are looking for, holding to the fact that the person they brought inn Failed to qualify his own team.
