In your opinion and observation do you think Africa is making progress economically, standard of living, Socially etc  as a continent, if Yes what are the things we are getting right, if No what are the things we are missing as a continent?

now Martina, it's not like I want to challenge you or so. quite the contrary, I enjoy reading the stuff you write. However, I am wondering what you mean by the above, and how you measure/justify that?

There is no scientific measure or justification, just in general term, Africa has a strong marital institution than most of the countries or continent of the world.
There are far marital break ups, confusions, unhappiness,  divorcees out there eg western countries than you find in Africa.
There are thousands institutions, groups, books etc trying to solve this yet the problem is there.
Africa really gets it right.

Africa needs to work on management and selflessness, I think these are very vital points Africa should focus on.

Africa has good moral standard than the less of the world I think this stands the continent out.
They are really making progress despite all the European countries  influences in this regard.

I wonder though how Africa is doing in comparison to the Arab world where divorces are very rare. But I am with you on that 'Africa' has very strong values pertaining to families etc.
