We've all heard that search engines are the primary resource for consumers to research and purchase of products or services online. In fact, market research has shown that over 70% of Internet users use search engines to locate online merchants. The ramification of this statistic is simple: if you want to reach members of your target market you need to ensure that your business website listed on popular search engines.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can help you achieve this. SEO is an important technique of online marketing. It helps you get your website appears in the pages of search engine results (SERP) for keywords that are relevant to your business. For example, if you are a business coach, and someone is looking for "business coach" that would be great for your business if your website appears in the first 10 results.

So what is search engine optimization? SEO involves choosing the best keywords for the body of the page, and other page elements (tags title tag, keywords and meta description, etc.) carefully chosen keywords provide "hints "that search engines use to rank your site and to determine if your site should appear certain search keywords. On page optimization of keywords by itself will help your ranking. However, the global search engine optimization is necessary to achieve optimal results. To get the best location, focus on SEO as a whole, rather than focusing on a particular technique.

Here are some important elements of search engine optimization of global:

- Have good content. After all, content is king (or queen, as the case may be). Without content, there is not much of a site. The content has to walk a fine line between providing useful content and including relevant and appropriate keywords for search engines.

It is often difficult to optimize your product or service pages for search engines, since the main purpose of these articles is to show the benefits of your offer. On the other hand, it is easier to optimize blogs and articles. In fact, you can create full articles and blog posts around keywords that are popular with your target market.

- Have consistent navigation. Both web site visitors and search engines navigate your website through links that connect the different pages. Consistent navigation ensures that your visitors can access each page of your website from any other page. Besides that, it will give the most of their efforts to search engine optimization.

- Get links to your site. Links to your website play a very important role in optimizing comprehensive search engine. Many popular search engines evaluate the popularity of your website based on counting the number of links pointing to your site. The more popular your website is, it gets better ranking in search engines. The best links are links from trusted sites, sites that have quality free content or related.

You can get links to your website by using a variety of techniques, such as writing articles, participating in link exchanges, and participate in online networking.

Adopt a holistic approach to web site optimization. Applying SEO to your website as a whole, and always assess the overall impact of their marketing efforts.
