Many webmasters are obsessed with the Google Page Rank. Articles and books have been written about Google PR (Page Rank). Forum posts cover the topic again and again, and every 3 months, tensions are rising when an update of Page Rank is possible with the time passes. Updates Page Rank is an interesting experience to see a small group of webmasters go a little crazy.

It all starts with the realization that someone PR update in progress. This event will find its way into the forums and newsgroups fast. Within minutes and hours of the Internet community is aware of an update of Page Rank. Because Google.com uses several different data centers for its search engine services and also changes at different intervals of webmasters around the world will see different results in the search results page rank. An update of Page Rank is also not complete in an hour or a day. For several days the results fluctuate.

With this in mind, it's a fun event to see the publicity surrounding a PR update. Webmasters get nervous if the PR of the website suddenly changes. A change may mean that the PR disappears completely or that the webmaster looks different (conflicting) results. As a high Page Rank can mean more traffic and higher revenues at the end of this event web site often feels like a roller coaster for people who depend on having a successful website. Imagine the website that you worked so hard to suddenly up and down in page rank for a PR update. Now the same people start posting your questions and comments in forums and newsgroups. But in the end it comes down to: Public PR is only a snapshot in time of what is at the base of Google.com 's. PR changes much more frequently than it is appearing in the Google toolbar.

And so it's no surprise that every 3 months tensions are high in newsgroups and online forums when it comes to discussing Google's Page Rank. If you are in search of a high Page Rank of your site - do not waste time searching the publicly visible PR. Use the time people need to talk about public relations actually work on the Page Rank of your site. Establish high quality links back to your site. Gradually grow these numbers. A large increase in a short period of time is not natural. Links back slow growth and that's what Google is looking for. Be smart - be in it for the long term and not short term profit public relations will not last.
