Its quite unfortunate, but the marriage is still new and can be terminated if she isn't comfortable with such life which I doubt.

I would beg to differ. I don't think it's funny at all. Hearts are broken and faith is lost. Fear, anger, frustration, and disgust - all these feelings likely mingling in one's heart.  I suppose that's what the wife must have gone through at that moment. I bet if she could change things she would have changed that moment. And this can't be funny at all.
