We do a lot of unlawful things in our daily lives, some unintentional while some aren't,  bribe is one of such. As  a person or entity have you taken or given bribe before and why?

In my case I remember in school we're  being asked by school lower authority to pay a certain fee, which will aid facilitation of a certain papers we wrote to administrative office in charge.
What makes it striking is that they told us the fee is a must if our paper must be marked by this department.

It was latter I reasoned that this bribe in nature.

It was when I was about 17 years old in ZAKIBIAN Benue state Nigeria, together with friends, some police men saw the way we gathered as young men in particular area, they came there and looked what we're doing and started going their way without a word, I suddenly turned and asked them what the problem is and why did they looked this way? They immediately looked back and came and held me, said I insulted them, they must take me to police station and started dragging me towards their vehicle. While I was asking what happened and what is my offense, a fellow met one of them, pleaded and gave them one N100, this is how he got released the hold and I was free.

So in this case I will say someone gave bribe on my behave.

In economics is called entertainment money, judging by this I will say I have given entertainment money to aid my way in so many instances.

Is like using short time solution to solve long time problem, I havn't , is wrong principle of life.
