As an IT Network Administrator, you will have sole responsibility for the information technology needs of the organization.    You will be primarily responsible for ensuring the stable and reliable operations of our network infrastructure to meet the global needs of FreeBalance.     You will plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network hardware, software, and communication links, as well as provide technical support for a complex software lab environment and all regional offices of FreeBalance.   As a secondary responsibility, you will provide technical expertise and experience regarding network configurations, disaster recovery, and system implementation to meet customer requirements for deployment of FreeBalance software.    This responsibility will involve visits to customer sites, reviewing requests for proposals, and documenting solutions.   Additionally you will also deploy FreeBalance software around the world. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
•   Network infrastructure design, implementation, debug, and support
•   Server configuration, administration, upgrades and preventative maintenance
•   Responsible for backups and data security as well as  disaster recovery
•   Hardware troubleshooting, upgrade and complete build of new and old servers and desktops
•   Software troubleshooting, installation, maintenance for all business applications
•    Experience with middle tier software using Tomcat Apache, JBoss and WebSphere
•   Remote user (SOHO) & world-traveler support
•   Webpage, FTP and portal configuration and administration of Mitel VOIP telephony system
•   Administer and manage the Firewall, SSL and IPSEC VPN appliances including network management software and anti virus solution
 
Education and Experience:
•   University Degree in relevant discipline, with a minimum of 3+ years experience
•   MCSE or equivalent Network Management ;
•   Experience with applying technical expertise to contribute toward customer solutions
•   Experience in deploying J2EE Applications using Open Source Software such as Tomcat, JBoss and WebSphere
•   Database Administration skills on MYSQL, Oracle and MS SQL
 
Specialized Skills:
•   Experience with management of HPUX, Tru64, Sun Solaris
•   TCP/IP network design and configuration (DNS, DHPC, WINS)
•   Firewall administration and configuration for SonicWall, Fortigate and Cisco, Anti Virus
•   Web server administration and configuration (IIS, Apache, WebSphere)
•   Experience configuring JBoss, Tomcat or WebSphere
•   System imaging and VM Ware skills
•   Windows Active Directory and LDAP
•   Unix/Linux knowledge
•   Installing and configuring databases such as Oracle 10G (on HP Unix, Tru 64 ,Sun Solaris, RHEL and Windows) and MS SQL 2005/2008
•   Experience with data security and setting up user groups based on functional access
•   Strong customer service orientation and ability to build effective internal and external relationships
•   Excellent project management skills
•   Advanced knowledge of all MS-Office applications.
