I would like to ruffle a few feathers, and perhaps make a few friends by stating that not all women who are single are bitter, vengeful hags. Don’t get me wrong. There are bitter women, there are women who are hags (or even haggard while we’re on the subject) vengeful ones who would have the most seasoned demon re-checking the evil handbook, but most of them are not single. Most of them have found the bone from which they came from. Yes. Women were created from the rib of a man and that which you come from; you must forever be bound to and be linked to in an endless union no matter the situation.
Stereotypes are the bane of everyone’s beliefs, myself included. I am indeed a single woman but that does not mean that I curl up into a foetal position every single night wishing that someone would predict an actual end of the world because my status does not include someone from the muscular side. Oh dear, there are muscular women as well so let me clarify and say I meant men. There are so many women tied to the wrong rib. And these are the women who make me glad that I left my first bone. Even the great Book states: that which causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it away. Likewise, that which causes you unnecessary pain and turmoil, cut it off, cast it away…preferably into the twilight zone or a black hole in the ozone layer. Or even in the pit of a very hungry shark. Give it no chance.
