Adware is usually attached program freeware and shareware you download from the Internet. It displays pop-up ads or pop-under on your computer, even if they are online. In general, have agreed to accept the installation when the product license agreement.

Spyware is a program similar to adware, that controls what you are doing on your computer. The program collected information is transferred to the company that installed on your computer so they can send specific ads chosen based on this information. Some spyware may also collect personal and sensitive information about their identity and send it to third party sources. Of course, this is illegal, but usually does not know that this program has been installed on your computer.

Now you may not worry about being bombarded with a lot of these ads and does not care if companies know what they're doing and you like targeted ads. Just remember that you may have spyware that are not aware of such things as collecting information from your credit card. Other, more obvious, you may experience problems even with adware is that you can find a significant deterioration of their computer systems performance and productivity. It may take much longer for the system processes to implement and each task is slower. New toolbars can appear in the browser. Page start your web browser itself can change and can be very difficult to change it again. Some pop-ups are not all the time your computer is running. New items appear in your favorites / bookmarks. The computer starts slowing to a crawl and crash.

Some things you can do:

> Ensure that all future downloads, read the license agreements for end-user does not install adware on your computer first. (Unfortunately, Spyware is not disclosed what he can not avoid that).

> Get a good and Adware Remover Anti-Spyware software. Before you buy do some research and compare the features of your short list of candidates so you can select the most appropriate.

> Rerun Adware Remover and Anti-Spyware software and updates periodically - every week is suggested.

> Keep your operating system updated with critical updates and security patches. Generally, you can download from Microsoft.

> If you use Internet Explorer, you may want to consider using a browser like Firefox to surf the Internet every day. Due to its popularity, the Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer users are more susceptible to attacks from spyware and adware.
