It is not just knowing what to do that guarantees triumph. But it is knowing the TRUTH to do. It is this TRUTH that sets free INDEED. John 8:32. So in this series I shall be opening up simple TRUTHS on various issues of life by the help of the Holy Spirit. The first is the issue of LUST. It is not temptation that causes lust but it is fueled/encouraged lust that causes you to constantly fall helplessly for temptation. James 1:15. Everybody has the ability to lust, but some do not fuel or encourage that ability while others fuel theirs. Fire burns but fuel will cause it to burn faster. So stop fueling that lust. Whether it is the lust of the eyes,the lust of the flesh or the pride of life. Do not fuel or encourage it. Stop imagining lustful pictures in your mind, stop watching movies filled with lust, stop listening to songs that is lust intended in its lyrics. Stop desiring to get rich quick by all means, Guard your heart with all diligence because the totality of your life is controlled from it.Proverbs 4:23.
