The devil is not always the cause of the negative things we see in our lives. Well, he is the secondary cause,but the remote and primary cause is us. The devil cannot molest or torment you without you giving him the permission knowingly or unknowingly.How do i do this? you may ask.You do this by living or committing sin. Sin of any kind or magnitude is the major way the devil enter into our lives.Ephesians 4:27. When you commit a sin,no matter how small, you have just said welcome to the devil.And since the devil is the author of evil,while God is the author of good,James 1:17, you can expect nothing good from the devil. Another way you invite the devil is to be living in fear, or in doubt of the promises of God's word. If you want to keep the devil out of your life then you must begin by guarding your heart with all diligence because this is the gate of your life.Proverbs 4:23. Mind what goes in there and what comes out.The easiest way to keep your heart safe is to judge everything you do,hear or imagine on the platform of the word of God.Philippians 4:8.That means you must read and study the bible(manual for life) daily.You can live your life as if the devil does not exist just by following these truths.
