Caring for a new employee during their first weeks on the job can mean the difference between success and failure of employees and their success and failure as an entrepreneur, manager or supervisor.

Proper orientation determines the speed with which the new employee can be productive and efficient in his new job as it gives a good opportunity for your new employee an efficient part of your team.

Here are 15 suggestions to help you deal with new employees during their first weeks to help ensure that started on the right track.

1. Have a policy of welcoming induction and training of new employees. Do not just let that is available. Human resources should cover the HR induction with a trainer (if you have one) or a senior manager or supervisor hands covering more of the work. Anyway what follows is a minimum that is required.

2. Give your employees a warm welcome. No single point to the area in which work and let them get on with it. Nothing makes a new employee feel more comfortable than a warm welcome.

3. They give a brief description about your role as supervisor. Knowing who is in charge and what they hope will make them more comfortable with you as the boss.

4. Give your new employee a welcome tour of the entire department or, if the site is too large, the entire site. Make sure you know how to get to the bathroom, emergency exits, cafeteria, etc.

5. Give a brief summary of the company, its history, its mission and objectives.

6. If you can show your company products and / or services, paying special attention to products related to the area in which the employee will work. This will make them more secure and confident with the work to be done.

7. Tell your new employee how the particular company if the company is working unusual practices or a different structure than the norm. Again, this will help you become familiar with the company.

8. Tell your new employee on the company's competitors and what is being done to ensure that the company is staying ahead of competition.

9. Explain in detail the responsibilities of his new employee and describe their job functions. Do not leave it to others to teach employees the basics unless you have a trained staff member whose job it is.

10. Let your new employee is aware of what you and the company expects of them. This includes the proper work ethic, productivity, teamwork, and appearance.

11. Explain the conditions and requirements of employment, including hours, wages, pay periods, holiday pay, the provisions of health, pension, medical benefits, delay etc.

12. Be very clear about safety rules, policies, procedures and regulations. Explain and demonstrate the proper use of safety devices.

13.Introduce your new employee to his colleagues, along with a brief description of their jobs and responsibilities.

14. Outline opportunities for promotions and other opportunities.

15. To give them time to acclimate a co-worker, a worker-friendly experience, to show the work and work with them during the first week of the two.

That covers all of these basics will help new employees settle in it will be more efficient, able to contribute much faster compared with employees who just left to their fate.
