Negotiating is a skill that tactics like the war has to be perfected. It is important to be mentally prepared to win. Do the ground work well before they reach the negotiating table and decide on the "path" that will take. Positivity will help as well a sense of confidence and self esteem. Put aside any doubts you may have and willing to step forward to win at all costs.

Five pillars of successful bargaining is emphasizing the common points, the presentation of arguments clear, be innovative and open to various options, concentrating on the problem at issue in search of a clear solution. The key is to be clear about your preferred outcome. However, in the back of your mind must be willing to compromise to some extent.

A good negotiator is an excellent communicator and understands how humans think, feel, and function. You should be able to make friends with the people sitting across the negotiating table. You should know when to push hard, when to compromise and when to walk away. A negotiator is in many ways an artist who needs a lot of creativity to lead the negotiations to a successful conclusion. A negotiator must take into account the 3FS: fair, fast and firm.

According to the gurus there are tactics to be used for negotiation:

1. It focused on the problem or issue. logical arguments are the key to smooth negotiations.

2. It is important to be firm but polite to make a stand or presentation of a point.

3. Clearly identify the advantages and disadvantages.

4. Be patient and let the negotiation process run its course.

5. Leaving aside the ego and concentrate on the matter. It's about finding an amicable solution that is important not to self-esteem or position.

6. Never threaten or manipulate the other hand, is totally immoral and unjust.

7. Objective solutions that are based interest and not what the individual desires or goals are. It is best to consider any situation as a whole and not from a personal standpoint.

8. Avoid psychological traps and have the generosity to admit when wrong. Being open-minded.

9. Do not accept weak solutions and try to negotiate a plausible solution. temporary measures are not what you need. A definitive solution to search.

10. Value of time, schedules and deadlines. A good negotiator does not beat around the bush or adopting delaying tactics and wasting time talking about mundane affairs. These professionals immediately for the task at hand.

Most human beings are born negotiators. From the first breath of a baby is made to dance around his songs. Most of us consciously or unconsciously, not what we have to do to get our own way in life. And if you look closely just to master the art of negotiation.
