Replacement costs: High direct costs and indirect costs

When you are planning for the renovation of a manufacturing facility, municipal buildings or deposit, you should always consider the costs of painting versus the costs of replacement. While it is true that the substitution is a solution to long term it is a very expensive solution, both in direct costs and overhead.

Direct costs of replacement are obvious. Materials, man hours and the installation of eating most of the project budget. Unfortunately, the project budget only shows part of the actual costs of replacement. Structural components are, by definition, linked together. If you remove one of the components that affect the remaining components. This increases the direct costs, usually after a project budget has been approved.

Compared with the indirect costs, however, the direct costs of replacement are strictly minor league. Often, replacement strategies require downtime and an industrial plant, downtime is very costly. While the machines and workers are idle, a company can lose tens of thousands of dollars or more every minute.

Painting costs: Low direct costs and indirect costs greatly reduced

Painting generally have lower labor costs. However, if a surface treatment is needed or prepared, the labor costs for painting can be compared to replacement costs. Material costs of the painting are generally much lower than replacement costs. An industrial painting company can offer a solution to a rehabilitation center with lower direct costs.
Indirect costs are lower too. A good industrial painting company is often able to fit working hours around your production schedule, minimizing downtime, and saving the company a fortune in overheads.

Painting can be a profitable part of its strategy of renewal. Contact your industrial painting company to explore its possibilities.
