LOOK AT OUR PARLIAMENT, OUR NATIONAL PRIDE IS GOVE FOREVER.   NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN PARLIAMENT IS WEARING KENTE OR GHANAIAN DRESS.    WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR PRIDE!!
How old are you?  Do you remember the days when Parliament met?  All members were in Kente or a Ghanaian dress.   Compare Nkrumah's parliament and the present parliament and you can conclude that we are now more British than Africans and we pride ourselves for speaking English as slaves,  When England was conquered by the Romans and the English people became slaves, their language and culture was abandoned, Latin was the language.   Now you see no traces of Latin or Roman culture in England.   Now that we are supposedly free, why are we throwing away our culture.   Let us "sankofa" our culture for we can be British subjects - slaves, but we can never be English.

This may have been written specific to the Ghanaian parliament but i believe this can be echoes across our continent.   We are loosing our culture , some may label people who raise such issues as pro-african blah blah and we live in a global village blah blah.   That does not change the fact that we ARE LOOSING OUR CULTURE!!! Agree or disagree?

When I saw "MAN DOES LIVE BY BREAD ALONE"  I nearly move this post to Christianity discussion board before I saw "LOOK AT OUR PARLIAMENT"

@Topic

I think is a matter of perceptive, although I agree with you, you have to understanding that isn't peculiar to dressing. Almost everything we do: the way we speak "accent" the way we eat (I remember eating one day together with a friend, in my own Africa's way, he said to me "Man this is old way of eating" ). So can you imagine?
With this perception don't expect this trend to stop soon.

It seems we need re-branding with slogan "MAN DOES LIVE BY BREAD ALONE"
